Community First is committed to helping improve the behavioral health and wellness of our Members and community. If you are struggling, it’s important to remember you are not alone. We can help you learn more about mental health conditions, provide personalized support, and connect you to care and additional resources that can help.
HEALTHY MIND PROGRAM BENEFITS & REWARDS:*
- Education about mental health conditions
- Case management service for chronic mental health conditions
- Gift card for getting follow-up care after a hospital stay related to behavioral health
- Gift card for getting follow-up care after starting ADHD medication
- Gift card for getting blood tests if you take 2 or more antipsychotic medications
- Gift card for completing classes on how to support a child/teen with a mental health condition
- Information about mental health benefits covered under your plan, like individual, couple, family, and group counseling, and other alternative treatments
- Help finding a professional counselor or doctor that can help with the following:

NAMI Basics
NAMI Basics is a free, six-session education program for parents/guardians, caregivers, and other family members who provide care for youth 17 years and younger who have either been diagnosed with a mental health condition or who are experiencing symptoms but have not yet been diagnosed. Community First STAR, STAR Kids, STAR+PLUS, and CHIP Members may be eligible to receive rewards for participating, like a $50 gift card, health and wellness items, and more.*
