Starting in March 2023, SNAP recipients will see a decrease in the amount of their household’s SNAP benefits. Recipients have been receiving additional SNAP benefits each month during the public health emergency. Due to federal guidelines, recipients will no longer receive additional benefits.

All SNAP recipients will get the maximum amount for their household size for January. To see the maximum amounts, visit the SNAP Food Benefits page.

To find out what your monthly benefit amount will be without the SNAP emergency allotment, log in to your account on YourTexasBenefits.com or the mobile app and go to Case Details, or call 2-1-1, Option 2. You do not need to speak to an agent. The benefit amount provided on 2-1-1 or YourTexasBenefits.com will not include the SNAP emergency allotment benefit amount.
