The following Value-Added Service is no longer available to Community First Health Plans STAR, STAR Kids, and CHIP Members:
Members that qualify for the Federal Lifeline Program can get a free cell phone (limit one per household) or use their own from the following plan options depending on coverage area:
- SafeLink Wireless: Unlimited talk and text, calls to Canada and Mexico, 25GB of highspeed data, up to 5GB of hotspot data.
- Life Wireless: Up to 500 minutes including unlimited text and up to 4.5 GB of data per month.
- Members can get unlimited calls to Member Services, Member Advocates and Service Coordinators through our toll-free line and free text health education messages.
Why are we making this change?
SafeLink Wireless and Life Wireless are supported by the Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP). ACP stopped accepting new applications and enrollments on February 7, 2024. For more information about ACP changes, please visit FCC.gov/ACP.
