If your current health plan is leaving the Bexar County service area, you need to pick a new plan by July 10, 2024.
STAR+PLUS health plans in the Bexar County service area are changing.
STAR+PLUS Members enrolled in health plans that are leaving and in areas with plan changes have been mailed enrollment packets from Texas Health and Human Services (HHSC). The packets inform Members of their plan choice, value-added services offered by each plan, and information on how to submit their selection.
If your health plan is leaving, you will need to choose a new plan by July 10, 2024. HHSC will make plan assignments for Members who do not pick a plan.
How to Choose a Plan/Switch Plans
- Mail the enrollment form back to HHSC
- Log into YourTexasBenefits.com and select Medicaid and CHIP Services
- Attend an enrollment event in your area. Find events by county at TXMedicaidEvents.com
- Call the Texas Enrollment Broker Helpline at 1-800-964-2777, option 2 for Medicaid, option 6 for STAR+PLUS
