DisABILITYsa is hosting a FREE Vax-abilitySTRONG Provider Workshops beginning on February 25th for health care professionals (Pharmacists, Physicians, Nurses, Clinicians) to learn about creating a disability-friendly environment.
The 2.5 hour workshop covers types of disabilities, access issues, strategies, and resources for improving care for patients with disabilities. Participants can earn 3.5 General CEUs and receive a starter kit (valued at $325) upon completion. The Workshop is a step towards earning recognition as a Welcoming Care Provider in San Antonio.
If you can’t make the February Workshop, don’t worry! DisABILITYsa is hosting multiple sessions throughout the year.
