What This Means for You
COVID-19 and Flu Vaccines
- Ages 3 and Older: You can receive COVID-19 and flu vaccines at your local pharmacy if they are on the Medicaid-approved list.
- Vaccines are administered by licensed pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, or pharmacist interns.
COVID-19 At-Home Tests and Treatments
- At-Home COVID-19 Tests: These remain covered when prescribed by a pharmacist.
- COVID-19 Treatments: Medications to treat COVID-19 are covered if prescribed by a pharmacist and listed on the Medicaid-approved drug list.
What You Need to Do
- Get Vaccinated: Visit a participating pharmacy to receive your COVID-19 or flu vaccine if you are 3 years or older. Make sure the vaccine is on the Medicaid-approved list.
