Healthy Texas Women (HTW) providers who intend to begin or continue delivering HTW services must complete their annual recertification process. The deadline for 2025 program year recertification has been extended to April 30, 2025.
As part of this process, Providers must also verify and update demographic and account information for each service location. It is essential that the Provider information displayed in the “Find a Doctor” tool on the HTW website remains accurate and up to date.
Providers can complete the HTW certification and demographic updates through the Provider Enrollment and Management System (PEMS):
- Visit the TMHP provider web page and click on My Account to access PEMS.
- For guidance, refer to the PEMS Instructions for HTW Certification and Attestation, available on the TMHP HTW web page.
- To update demographic information:
- Navigate to the PEMS Instructional Site
- Select Maintenance
- Follow the prompts for your program and provider type
- Choose Maintenance – Practice Location – Demographics
For assistance, contact the TMHP Contact Center at 800-925-9126 and select option 5.
Provider claims may be rejected by the Texas Health and Human Services Commission, TMHP, MCOs, or dental maintenance organizations if enrollment information is not up to date.
