Effective for dates of service on or after March 1, 2025, influenza vaccine procedure code 90661 is a benefit of the Healthy Texas Women (HTW) program.
Procedure code 90661 may be reimbursed for the following provider types and places of service:
Administration for procedure code 90661 may be reimbursed when billed with corresponding vaccine administration procedure codes 90460, 90471, or 90472.
Claims Reprocessing:
Affected claims with dates of service on or after March 1, 2025, will be reprocessed, and providers may receive additional reimbursement, which will be reflected on future Remittance and Status (R&S) Reports.
