Community First Health Plans, Inc. (Community First) is accountable for adopting and publishing clinical practice guidelines relevant to its Members for the provision of preventive, acute, or chronic medical services and behavioral health services.
Community First uses clinical practice guidelines to help practitioners and Members make decisions about appropriate health care for specific clinical circumstances and behavioral health services.
Community First reviews its guidelines against clinical evidence at least every two years or more frequently if national guidelines change within the two-year period.
