Mail Order Prescriptions

Effective 11/1/2018, Texas Medicaid members will have a permanent mail order solution. The following VDP registered pharmacy will accommodate mail order prescriptions for Navitus membership beginning 11/1/2018:

HEB
NPI 1801185004

Members may submit mail order prescriptions to NoviXus Pharmacy. Members who use maintenance drugs may fill their prescriptions through mail order. The use of mail order is recommended only for maintenance drugs, rather than drugs that will be needed for a short time (e.g. antibiotics for an acute illness). Maintenance drugs are typically used to treat chronic, long-term conditions. This program is voluntary. Please note:

You may register with NoviXus or by calling (877) 668-4987. Please allow up to two weeks for processing and delivery of your first order. Please ensure that you have enough medication on hand to last until your new prescriptions arrive.

The University Health System (UHS) Pharmacy Rx and Go Program is a prescription filling service for UFCP members. The Rx and Go Program is a prescription benefit at UHS outpatient pharmacies. To use the program, the prescription must be prescribed by a UHS/UT MED/CMA prescriber and must meet certain criteria to be filled at the UHS pharmacy. Certain maintenance medications may qualify for mail order and may be received for free. Please visit the UHS site for more information about this program.
