If your current health plan is leaving your service area, you will have to pick a new plan to continue receiving your STAR+PLUS benefits.

Health and Human Services (HHSC) will let you know if and when you need to choose a new plan and send you a packet in the mail when it’s time to choose. The packet will include facts about each health plan available to you.

If you don’t choose a health plan by July 1, 2024, HHSC will choose one for you.

  • Check your mail for information from HHSC and respond accordingly
  • Visit or call 2-1-1 to report any changes to your contact information, like your address or phone number

If you would like to change your plan, call the Texas Enrollment Broker Helpline at 1-800-964-2777 or log into your Your Texas Benefits account.

Beginning September 1, 2024 Community First Health Plans, Inc. will be adding STAR+PLUS to its line of health care products.
