Community First Health Plans, Inc. (Community First) is seeking Community Health Workers (CHW) and Doulas to join our Provider network to care for our pregnant Members, addressing critical gaps in maternal health care under Medicaid and in alignment with Texas House Bill 1575.

HB 1575 addresses a critical gap in maternal health care across Texas by strengthening the way Medicaid helps identify and impact underlying, non-medical drivers of health like housing, nutrition, transportation, employment, and more.
Community First values CHWs and doulas and the important role they play in improving health outcomes for women and babies through providing culturally-appropriate care, addressing non-medical drivers of health, and reducing barriers to health care access.
